Lake cleaning drive - Neknampur lake
On 26 April, volunteers from Arohasetu Foundation organized a lake cleaning and tree plantation drive at Neknampur Lake to promote environmental sustainability and community engagement. Volunteers actively removed plastic waste, litter, and other pollutants from the lake surroundings, contributing to a cleaner and healthier ecosystem. As part of the initiative, saplings were also planted around the lake to enhance green cover, support biodiversity, and improve the local environment. The drive successfully raised awareness about environmental conservation, responsible waste management, and the importance of protecting and preserving natural resources for future generations.
